東吳大學邁入建校120年，累積了無數前輩的智慧、文物和校史資產，因為舊的校史館位置不佳、空間狹小，鮮少有學生駐足瀏覽。為傳承珍貴的百年建校史，數百位東吳人共同捐款建置東吳校史館。
Soochow University has entered the 120th year since its establishment, and has accumulated countless predecessors' wisdom, cultural relics and school history assets. Because the old school history museum is not well located and the space is small, few students stop to browse. In order to inherit the precious centuries-old history of the school, hundreds of Soochow people jointly donated money to build the Soochow School History Museum.

這裡不只是一間校史館，更是東吳人的娘家
校史館是承載歷史足跡的地方，更是宣揚學校的重要場域，傾聽到校友們對母校的支持與贊助，校史館聚集了東吳人的向心力及代代傳承的精神。
希望校史館數位科技化的過程，重溫建校的舊時光；凝聚向心力，讓各個東吳人以校為榮，傳承百年精神；也讓回巢的東吳菁英在母校也有個話當年的角落。
The school history museum is a place that bears the historical footprint, and it is also an important place to promote the school. We can listen to the alumni’s support and sponsorship for the alma mater. The school history museum gathers the centripetal force of Soochow people and the spirit of inheritance from generation to generation.
It is hoped that the process of digitalization of the school history museum will relive the old days of the school; gather centripetal force so that all Soochow people will be proud of the school and inherit the century-old spirit; and let the Soochow elites who have returned to their nests have a corner of their alma mater.
設計概念
Concept of Design
將成長的時間化為空間的故事動線
全館 概念透過學校的建校歷程、學生到校友的身分轉變，將成長的時間轉化為故事主軸。
不管是什麼階段的東吳人都可以更了解東吳的故事、展現東吳的精神。
空間動線從東吳精神主題開啟校園生活，傳承過去、成就現在、迎向未來，踏出校史館就如同離開東吳的校園生活，踏出學校的那刻，就像校訓一樣” Unto a Full-Grown Man 長大成人”。
The concept of the whole museum transforms the time of growth into the main axis of the story through the history of the school's establishment and the transformation of identities from students to alumni.
People of Soochow no matter what stage they are, can better understand the story of Soochow and show the spirit of Soochow.
The space moving line starts the campus life from the spiritual theme of Soochow, inherits the past, achieves the present, and faces the future. Stepping out of the school history museum is like leaving the campus life of Soochow, and the moment you step out of the school is like the school motto.” Unto a Full-Grown Man grows up".
